The media coverage before, during and after the festival consisted of articles in more than 60 Austrian newspapers and magazines such as Kurier, Kleine Zeitung, Der Standard, Salzburger Nachrichten, Wiener Zeitung, Kronen Zeitung, Österreich, medianet, Horizont, VORmagazin, ray Filmmagazin, M*magazine and many more.
There were also many reports on various online portals as well as on radio and television channels such as Radio Orange, the ZIB news on Austria‘s national channel ORF and on Viennese local channel W24. The festival was also covered by media abroad in Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, and in the People‘s Republic of China.

ray FILMMAGAZIN (Austria), May 2012: A look at the list of the festival‘s confirmed international guests shows just how much the filmmakers from Eastern Europe appreciate and welcome the idea behind the LET’S CEE Film Festival. The list features the names of thirty directors, screenwriters, producers, critics and actors who will also be available for questions from all film enthusiasts in workshops or at the film symposium.

The concept with which festival director Magdalena Żelasko wants to address the many migrants and emigrants from CEE countries living in Vienna as well as all Austrian cinema enthusiasts is clear and involves showing as many Austrian premieres as possible.
CULTURE (Poland), June 2012: The first Urania Awards were awarded to the winning films of the LET‘S CEE Film Festival on Sunday night. The Turkish film Zenne - Dancer by directors M. Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay as well as the Polish documentary Argentinian Lesson came out on top. Hollywood legend Turhan Bey was paid tribute for his life‘s work. The LET‘S CEE organizers also awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for the very first time.
