Ravishing individual case

Marcin Szczygielski’s newest book has now been published in German. The bestselling author from Poland has been partaking at the LET’S CEE Film Festival as a guest several times. The critics have judged his present work complaisant. DIE WELT recently called "Flügel aus Papier" (German for: the wings of paper) a “ravishing individual case”, Süddeutsche Zeitung referred to a “touching and intensive novel”, and Frankfurter Rundschau ruled: “The wings of paper which give the book its title are the surfaces of literature carrying children as well as adults towards new journeys.”
