Presenting Partner

The LET’S CEE Film Festival, taking place for the second time i n Vienna this year, will offer an opportunity to watch excellent films from our eastern and southern neighbouring countries. Naturally, the film festival not only wants to address the hundreds of thousands of migrants who have come to Austria from the CEE region during the past decades, but simply all Austrians interested in great cinematic art from Central and Eastern Europe. The combination of original versions with German and English subtitles, as well as dubbed versions will allow for just that. Over a period of more than a week, carefully selected masterpieces from the CEE region will be shown at the historical movie theater Urania and at the Actor‘s Studio Vienna: current productions and classics, arthouse films and box office hits. Vienna is undoubtedly the perfect venue for this type of festival. After all, Austria’s capital is located in the heart of Europe, and it has always had close ties – historically, culturally and economically – to most of the countries whose motion pictures are going to be shown at the festival. There are many good reasons why we at Cineplexx International and Constantin Film take particular pleasure in being a presenting partner of the LET’S CEE Film Festival. One of them should be mentioned here by way of example: We are one of the leading chains of movie theatres in the region today. And we have great plans for the future in the CEE region. Accordingly, we not only want to show the best films from all over the world to visitors of our movie theatres in Croatia, Serbia etc., but also the other way round: to present the best films from the countries where we are active in, in Austria. Under this aspect, the idea which the LET’S CEE Film Festival stands for perfectly suits us.
