Synopsis

Ania is a music teacher in her 30s, single and unsatisfied with her life. The solution seems to be just one click away: With the aid of the popular app “Planet Single”, the timid Ania arranges her first online date. It happens to be Valentine’s Day, and she wants to meet Mr Perfect. Wearing a plain white sweater and glasses, her hair pulled back, she waits in a trendy restaurant. Alas, she is stood up. Her date never shows. Instead, she accidentally meets Tomek. A notorious womaniser and celebrity with his own satirical talk show, he comes forward with a proposal… and turns Ania’s world completely upside down. Slapstick and countless grotesque scenes quickly push the plot forward in a smart and skilful way making the comedy’s runtime fly by. Flooded by social networks and sensation-seeking media, the protagonists’ lives represent a lifestyle which is no longer the preserve of younger generations. What is really essential in life?
