Synopsis

The music-documentary follows eight young Slovenian musicians on their journeys to New York, Amsterdam and Vienna. The jazz-musicians stand out through their talent and their ambition on the one hand, but also through their pursuit of perfection and creativity. Abroad, they are looking for new experiences and they in fact manage to play with one of the big American names of their business. An exciting insight in the thrilling world aside the mainstream. After two movie screenings and a Q&A, two of the protagonists, supported by two other outstanding musicians, Robert Jukič and Vladimir Kostadinović, will play an at least two-hour long concert, of their own works as well as improvisations, partly from their last album and partly from Time to Improvise.
