The brothers Andrey and Philip sit on a roof, drinking vodka and joking around. When their mother, who hasn't been in contact with her sons for some time, calls, Philip, the younger brother, refuses to pick up the phone. Soon afterwards he disappears. Andrey goes looking for his brother, but only finds his mobile. Trailing his brother, he crosses a city that seems even more desolate in the night than by day. While on his seemingly futile search, his mother calls again and again, but Andrey does not have the heart to pick up the phone. An intelligently told drama full of emotion that tells a story of lost loved ones, of self-sacrificing love between brothers and of two sons struggling against their mother's love.
