Synopsis

As part of the series Films & Books, three writers will come to Vienna to present their work in person. The famous Polish author Marcin Szczygielski will give a reading from his newest book Ark of Time (German: Flügel aus Papier, Polish: Arka Czasu) on 6^th October at the Main Library in Vienna. The book was published recently in German and has already won several prizes and received highly favorable reviews. The German paperSüddeutsche Zeitung, wrote that Ark of Time is a very, “touching and intense novel” and Frankfurter Rundschau, said that the wings of paper, which provided the German title to the book, are the wings on which children and adults can fly away.
