Mizrap is 40-years old and he’s still not married, has no job and lives as ever with his parents. He has absolutely no ambitions to change these circumstances. For his family he’s a great disappointment and the most important thing in his life seems to be his dog Karakiz. One day his father runs out of patience and he throws his unsuccessfull son out of his house. This expulsion happens to be the beginning of an extraordinary road trip through Turkey. Mizrap decides to visit his old friend Salim together with his dog. And more important is, that he finally wants to find a woman to live with him and also marry him. The journey turns out both, funny and sad, but turns in any case into a touching adventure. Mizrap stumbles from one disaster to another, which basically leads to compassion in the audience, because no one would want this highly likeable guy to being faced with any bad, everyone rather grants him the best. Is this unlucky fellow able to assure his father to be anything but a goof-off at the end of the day? A Good Fellow not only convinces the audience with it’s story, which gives deep insights into the soul of it’s protagonist, but also with beautiful pictures of Turkish landscapes, that Mizrap and his loyal companion Karakiz drive past on their old motorbike.
