Synopsis

The hip Cafe Leopold in the Museumsquartier is one of the hottest meeting areas of the cosmopolitan and urban scene of Vienna. It opened its doors in 2001 as a classical coffeehouse but over the years has become a place, where you can hear innovative sounds of internationally well-known artists and dance all night; also other cultural activities, such as video projections of experimental filmmakers, play an important role in the Cafe Leopold by now. For these reasons, the Cafe Leopold is more than just a café for many people, namely a club or an extended living room.

During the LET’S CEE festival, the bar serves as a central meeting point for the international and Austrian guests and for all friends of cinema, from Sunday the 5^th of October to Wednesday the 8^th of October. Therefore the DJ-lines will be tuned to the music from Central- and Eastern Europe at these nights. The entry on these days is for free for everyone, which isn't the case at the big LET’S CEE Film Festival Party on Friday the 10th of October, where Pezo Fox (P.O.M, Steel Reserve), Zuzee (Waxolutionists) and a special LET’S CEE guest will rock the house on the turntables. The entry ticket costs EUR 10,- whereas for people who have a cinema ticket, a festival pass and for accredited visitors the price is EUR 5,-.
